I'm a PhD student in Information Engineering and Computer Science at the University of Trento investigating the reasoning capabilities of Large Language Models at the intersection of artificial intelligence and cognitive science.
My research explores fundamental questions about how LLMs reason: What drives their decision-making? How do their reasoning processes compare to human cognition? What biases emerge from their design? I combine computational methods with insights from cognitive science to better understand these systems both at the behavioral level and in their internal mechanisms.
